$3k rtx3070 laptop

Looking for a laptop in the range of $2,000-$3,000 with a rtx3070, preferably Razen cpu, 1tb ssd, at least 16gb of ram (32gb would be better), 1440p 120+ screen.
Main use would be school, gaming, and some data workflows.

Razer has HORRIBLE quality control as in most laptops don't even get to 2 years so do not get that garbage.

Alienware is very much so overpriced.

The alienware r6 has a gimped gpu that is worse than a normal laptop 3070.

For that money you can have a lenovo legion 5 with a rtx 3080 and a ryzen 5900h if you so wish. I would recommend the 3070 version of it however. Can also get the legion 5 pro with the 16:10 screen which is really nice.

1440p for such a small screen is not worth it but if you really want it the legion lineup has the option for it.

Thanks! Lenovo is the one I was looking at next. Thanks for the tip on Razer, really don’t know much about them.

Yeah they made a good laptop twice and then they started making shiny crap.

Even better.  2TB SSD and 64GB RAM:

Screen is nowhere close in colour quality compared to the lenovo legion lineup and temps are not good on it.

The legion is just flat out the better laptop

Right now I’m between the Lenovo legion 5 (amd) and the legion 7 (amd) both with the same specs except that the 7 has a better screen. The price difference is $150.

Every time someone says "it overheats" on any modern gaming laptop--especially 15"--i laugh.  because they literally all can and will, if you stress them enough.  they don't make laptops for cooling.

you think an omen is bad?  (it's not)  You should try a gigabyte.
