(solved)pc tries to go into windows but crash when loading in after oc

hi 

i got an old core 2 quad q6600 pared with a radeon hd 6950 2gb, and i want more performance out of my cpu. 

So i overclocked it 100 mhz and when i aply the overclock, it will try to log in to windows but crashes when it starts to load.

Do anyone know whats going on with it?

Overclock is unstable.Lowering or disabling it should fix the issue.

Your OC is likely unstable, try increasing the cpu voltage a bit in the bios and see if it gets you stable, if it doesnt, set it back to stock because if cant do 100mhz extra, youve lost the Silicon Lottery.

How much voltage do you think is requierd to get it stable?
