Vive Flow - What is it?

For anybody who isn't subscribed to their newsletter, VIVE have been teasing something for a few weeks now.  In two days they plan to show it off, with some screenshots earlier this month:

The media and tech sites believe this will be a compact VR headset, less powerful than an Oculus Quest 2. However, the container itself isn't much larger than a spectacles case, so the question becomes is this going to be parallax, ski goggles display to compete with Tilt Five, or something more... "amibitious" (such as a headset-free projector with hand tracking).

 

Any thoughts?

Yep.  Rumors are only that until something hits the shelf and get reviewed.  Sometimes they never even come to market.  All kinds of speculation happens for various products.  Until you find out what is in the box you actually are able to buy though they mean as little or much less than current video card MSRPs. Just watched a video on how even reviewers are getting scammed because they are sent stuff for review that may not match the actual product in the box.  Until this thing, whatever it is becomes actually available it is vaporware.
