GPU

Go to solution Solved by heimdali,

If neither is the GPU you wanted to buy to begin with, I wouldn't jump at a deal just because it's there and because I'm impatient.  I'd rather buy the GPU I want.  Otherwise, it would always bother me.  And it's a lot of money, so why not buy what you wanted, even if you need to wait for it.

Other than that, my experience with Gigabyte has been so bad that I'll never buy anything they made.  I've never had issues with mainboards from MSI.

Hello,

Please help a noobie decide on a GPU:

I currently can buy a MSI 3070 Ventura 2x OC at 900 $ or the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING Z TRIO /GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ELITE LHR at 800-850$.

I know the prices are not ideal but year ago I decided to build my own PC which was the most headache inducing thing and after I missed multiple opportunities to buy a card at a good deal , at the moment I am out of patience and I just want to finish my build QQ .

what I currently have: Ryzen 7 5800x + Corsair Vengeance memory 32 gb + Corsair power supply 750w + Artic Liquid Freezer Cooler + Gigabyte Elite x570 board +Phanteks Eclipse P500A Case .

I Know that a 3070 would be better but I heardnthat the MSI 2x OC is one of the worst of the bunch and I was wondering if maybe a higher rated 3060ti would be better.

Buy 3070, You have waited long enough and when you have parts laying around, waiting sucks the most.

900 USD for 3070 is not bad considering current prices and there is nothing wrong with gigabyte, Except not having good support, But it's not time to be picky, There is nothing else to chose from 😄

Thank you both for replying: I will just wait a little longer to buy a card that I actually want but it will be a month at the max - I'm still deciding if I will buy in on black Friday or not ( I really have a strong feeling that I will be slaughtered by the competition if I try to buy it then and will end up with no card)
