getting a new gpu

I want to get a 

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 6GB

but I would like to know If I need to upgrade my cpu

currently I have a intel i3 10100 (intergraded graphics)

Do I need to upgrade my cpu, please help.

CPU is fine, and 500 watts is enough. Hopefully it’s a decent PSU, but 500 watts is plenty for that.

CPU is fine. That’s not a bad CPU for that GPU.

 

Yes, a faster CPU would give you more FPS, but it doesn’t make sense to spend more on a faster CPU since spending more on the GPU would result in even better FPS. It’s all about balancing the build, and that CPU is a fine option.

Not until comet lake and rocket lake finally hit the used market, honestly. Save it and get the eventually used 11400F.

Depends on what year of make, but it should be fine overall even with light OC.
