So, i bought a second hand gtx 1050ti almost a week ago. I tested it with unigine heaven and the boost clocks, mem clocks and temps seemed fine. Up till yesterday, my system was working flawlessly (except for some blue screens, which i chalked up to my OC). When i tried to turn my system on today, it refused to post, i checked the GPU's fan and it was not spinning. Took it out and tested in on another mobo, also refuses to spin.

Is this just pure bad luck? Is there anything i can do?

I might just fully avoid the second hand graphics card market from now on, this GPU just took all the money I've been saving up myself for the past 6 months with it...

Having blue screens isn't working flawlessly. You can't have "works flawlessly" and "has issues" at the same time; you got a bad card.

The blue screens were right after my i5 2500k oc, so i assumed i pushed it too far

ebay? it was probably used to mine for years and when it started to fail the guy decided to put it up for a suspiciously low price, happens all the time. sorry tho

We don't have ebay in my country, we use tokopedia here. They provide a 2 day period for every product, i used that time to test on unigine superposition and heaven. Didn't see anything odd....

And for the next 4 days i overclocked my i5 2500k, got it stable after a few bsods, played some valorant with my friends, then it decides to die

I know this is likely not going to be it, but seeing that there isn't much else, maybe it's the PSU?

I know, it's a far stretch.

F to pay respects to a fallen gamer.

Nope, i actually allocated alot of my budget to the psu and got a corsair cx550
