im planing on building a MITX build and the mobo(https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Motherboard-B450-Gaming-ITX-AC/dp/B07FVVNDFX)  im looking at only has 2 usb headers. afaik a typical usb header can carry 2 plugs, there is this weird connector labled USB_5 i think its for some cooler RGB thing or smth, the manual shows it as thisi4s4CMh.pngif i made the adapter do you think i could run an additional port off of this plug?

PS, there are a couple places i think this thread could go, i think this is the most appropriate, correct me if im wrong.

If that power pin is +5v, I think you're probably right. That port is designed for AMD stock coolers that have RGB like the Wraith Prism, if I recall correctly. The rest of the pinout matches a standard USB2 internal header. Then again, how many internal headers do you really need? Most cases these days use USB3 front panel ports and most of the time you just need to hook up maybe an AIO to the 2.0 header if its software controlled. Even then, I've just used a simple USB2.0 internal header hub if I needed more ports.

Fair. My last 3 systems were all mITX as well as I prefer that form factor but I don't know what else I would plug in besides the normal things.. or that a hub wouldn't solve.
