Razer mouse polling rate severely affecting performance

About maybe a year ago I had an issue were games would freeze when I move my mouse too fast. This issue kind of popped up out of nowhere because I didn't experience before then. After some trouble shooting I found that it was the mouse polling rate so I turned it down from 1000 to 500 and it fixed it. In the last week the issue has return even though I'm using 500hz and the next lowest option in razer synapse is 125hz which fixes it but has a noticeable impact on accuracy and usability. What do I do? My computer isn't weak so I feel like it could be some program that's messing with it. Help me, please.

I've attached a video that shows the issue in action. When I click and drag to highlight then let go and spin my mouse around the box just stays there.
