Well oc cpu on laptop is not really good idea, the cooling is not really adequate to heat output when oc. That’s why most laptopa don’t even let you oc. Anyway if you want to revers it just clear cmos

You can reset the UEFI settings (clear CMOS) by one of the following methods:

 1. Go to the Exit tab in the UEFI and select Load Optimized Defaults.

2. Press the Clear CMOS button on your motherboard (if it has one).

3. Unplug the computer and remove the coin cell battery on the motherboard for a few minutes and then reinsert it.

What did you do in terms of overclocking?

How are your thermal doing?

Current system. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X; MoBo: Gigabyte X570S Aorus Master; RAM: 2x Crucial Ballistix MAX 2x8 GB (BLM2K8G40C18U4B); GPU: RX 6900 XT Gigabyte Aorus Master; case: Fractal Design Meshify-2; Storage: Samsung 980PRO 1TB NVMe SSD + 2x Samsung 980 1TB NVMe SSD; PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-850; Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360.

i unpark all the cores, i change scaling to 100% and turbo index to 100%

the thermal is fine

i tried reset my laptop but it doesn't work

If it's not doing anything intensive, you don't want to to be running at full clock speeds, it's just wasted power.

it will speed up when it actually needs to

I am not the big OC expert, but shouldn't scaling be higher than 100 for OC ie boosting to work?

Looking at you screen shot why is the GPU0 (UHD 620) doing anything? shouldn't the GPU1 (nvidia Geforce) be doing all the work.

You can't use the task manager for monitoring performance in real time. I use MSI Afterburner to display CPU, GPU and Temperature performance in game.

You could also try user benchmark to see where you sit in comparison to others with the same hardware. If you get the same results as everyone else then everything is working fine.

So resetting the bios to default didn’t helped? How did you oc in the first place? Did you checked the temps?
