It's when you fly a jet or helicopter into another jet or helicopter and it explodes or flips sideways and crashes.

Like jet ramming? It is hitting other jets with your jet, or really anything for that matter.

A lot of times its people who are too lazy to snipe people who are in those "cheap spots" on maps that are too hard to hit, its much easier to just hop in a jet and hit the sniper with it. Sometimes people will use it for stupid stuff like ramming tanks or boats, but thats almost always a bad idea.

 

People hate it and think its cheap because its pretty hard for an infantry person to take out a plane/heli before it runs into them, and hard to dodge unless you expect it.

If someone is sniping in an annoying position I will normally spawn recon and try to shoot them, however if for instance we are on Hainan Resort and the enemy has taken the rocket truck into their spawn I will fly a jet over there and drop ordinance on it, and often suicide ram it because you can't get back before the 10 second 'out of bounds' counter gets to 0 and you are KIA.

 

I will not ram aircraft as a rule because it's cheap and you don't get any points or kills for it.
