HELP! PC shutting down when playing games.

Ever since I installed my new ryzen 5 5600, b550 bazooka, and nzxt kraken x53 my computer has been shutting down and restarting when playing games. I even tested the Heaven benchmark, and my pc didn't even shut down! Help! i have no idea what is wrong with my pc!

Can you check your temps? Sounds like an overheating or PSU issue.

 

Could also be the GPU driver, I had something similar with AMD 21.2.1 drivers which was fixed in a later update

I have nzxt cam, and the gpu temps maxed out at 70 celcius, while cpu stayed around 45-60

That's not the issue then. Can you check what event viewer reports?

Press the Windows key and type event viewer. Open the program, go to Windows Logs > System and check for anything saying error/critical. If there are multiple ones show them all

i have a bunch of warnings saying distributedCOM, and errors saying schanel.i also have a kernal pnp warning andevent log error.

it also doesnt seem to crash on offline games

 

edit: scratch that risk of rain 2 causes a shutdown also

Thanks for responding, i did the windows reset were it keeps all personal files idk if that affects this or not.

 

also, what is that driver for?

That is strange, I think you got the crash fixed with your lan driver. 

 

This new error is a strange one. I know Nzxt Cam can cause a lot of problems. Might want to uninstall it and see if it helps. 

 

I would also suggest to install the latest AMD chipset drivers as well. That error could be related to subsystem drivers being over written by the windows reset.
