Is it possible to clone/backup Bitlocker encrypter partition?

I have to format and repartition my client's hard disk. But one partition is encrypted. Is there a way to backup with without having the password?

Any tool that can create a bitwise clone of a disk/partition should work. It'll just copy the data verbatim and doesn't have to know what it means.
