Can i Control the RGB of my Aorus Master RTX3080 with software other than gigabytes? HELP!!!!!

AnUnQuietMind

Hey all, i have the new iteration of the Gigabyte Aorus Master that has 3 8Pin PCI-E power cables. its a refresh gigabyte recently did. its basically an Aorus Extreme pcb with a Aorus Master Bios. The Duel BIOS when switched to "OC" and MSI afterburner power limit set to 121% Boosts the gpu to 2180mhz which is pretty cool.

HOWEVER! i cannot get the Aorus RGB software to play nicely with Corsair ICU or ASUS RGB software, EVEN when i fully uninstall both ICU and Asus RGB and only have the gigabyte RGB Aorus software installed I Can Not control the LCD or RGB of my GPU. So it is stuck on unicorn vomit mode with rainbows and kittens coming out of every LED, the backplate the fan lights and the LCD screen cycles between showing the GPU temp/fan speeds/GPU Clock speed/little Aorus egg that shakes and hatches into the Eagle.

IF you know of ANY way to either use other software to control the GPU RGB or some work around that lets it play nicely with the other rgb software Please Let Me Know!!!!

My graphics card is a beast and because i bought through ibuypower and just transferred everything from the case it came in to a Corsair 5000D Airflow white i was able to get my graphics card for 836$ US.

I'm Running a Ryzen 5 5600X at 4.750MHZ and 4x8GB of corsair DDR4 3200MHZ memory in quad channel. (see steve burks video on gamers nexus about that CPU performing better in quad channel then duel)

I'm very happy with my system but want the RGB to match, having a Cyberpunk Night city neon pink and teal RGB with pink fans, 4 sticks of teal ram and teal RGB corsair mouse and keyboard and then Unicorn vomit GPU is pissing me off.

Any and all advice is welcome and id be extremely grateful for your help.

Cheers

Only single or dual channel are possible. Buildzoid explains in spoiler.

No, ryzen 3/5/7/9 only supports dual channel, up to 2 sticks per channel. As Steve says at 22:23, "these cpu's aren't capable of running memory in quad channel"

your right, I failed to clarify that i meant 4 sticks in duel channel rather than 2 sticks in duel channel. in the past i always ran with two sticks in duel channel on intel and for the first time have all 4 dims full. you are correct, i failed to convey what i meant.

Unfortunately the current version of openRGB doesn't support gigabyte RGB devices, in ran the program and it detected everything accept the graphics card.
