I don't think that is free. As far as getting features from a free program, that probably means no features and requires using command prompt/console to program.  :huh:

Dont know about that it got i for free..but i think thats really a good editor...u can get Eclipse IDE for c++ free...that is also good...

Well it used to be, I think that they have done the cloud based thing along with Office 365 which might make it paid. Other versions however, were free.

Visual Studio is free...

Last time I checked, it is not free, as there is a trial on it, and this was with Visual Studio 2013... The older versions may still be free though.

EDIT: There are express version, though I'm not sure of the difference

Visual studio express lacks a few key features only available in the paid version. 

 

If you want free, the following with various plugins works fairly well as an IDE:

SublimeText (free older version)

Code::Blocks

Eclipse
