Reducing costs from 3k build to 2,6k

Budget (including currency): ~2,6k USD or ~10k pln 

Country: Poland

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Only for games, I want it to be a long lasting build, so if it could carry the most recent games on the highest settings for the next five years, it would be superb :D

My current (old) setup allows me to play games like The Witcher 3 on medium settings in comfortable fps range (50-80). I don't want to reuse any of its components, because they are old - I have them for more than 6 years now :0

It is slighly more expensive, so is there a way to reduce some costs or maybe whole build just does not make sense? I don't mind removing rgbs or some features like wifi from mobo, but can't find the better alternatives.

CPU :
swapping to a ryzen 9 5900X would save you  $ 250 ish, and shouldn't really effect the build, unless you need the 4 extra cores which for gaming atm isn't that important but who knows what the next years do.
 

Ram:
Accourding to the amd website itself both the 5950x and 5900x are limited to ddr4-3200, though i honestly don't know if XMP profiles can go over that limit
so personally i would swap the ram for the 3200 variant saving you another $30
 
this will reduce the cost by $280 not quite the $400 you want but atleast a big step towards it

Drop your cpu to 5800x or 5900x if you need more core

 

And gpu, don't buy a 3070 for $1369,

Just don't 

 

For motherboard you can change it to b550-A or b550-F

First, the bad news: a 3070 is not in any way, shape or form guaranteed to hold up for the next five years. You'd be looking at a 3080 or 3090 for that, and, well, those are just a wee bit pricier, and even they're not guaranteed. The worse news: that's where the bulk of your cost is going to sit no matter what you do. Judging by where thing sit now, my 5-year-old GTX 1070 is more than capable of handling most games at 1440p and almost everything at 1080p, but that's 1080p60, not 1080p144. I have no idea how it would do running Cyberpunk at 1080p144 with maxed-out settings, but I doubt it would be pretty.

 

The good news: you can go with a cheaper SSD, and make sure you actually need the E-model of that board. Could save a little on each of those. You do NOT need a 5950X for a strictly gaming use case. A 5900X is fine for that, and even a 5800X would be fine for the short term (at least).

 

The simple answer is that until GPU prices come down, if they ever do, that's what's going to end up driving your price skyward. You can mitigate that by going with a cheaper GPU and a 5900X, along with a cheaper SSD and motherboard, and upgrading as needed.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

As mentioned above drop the cpu down to the 5900X/5800X or even the 5600X if just gaming. There isn't really much difference between those cpu's for that.

 

You could swap out the cooler for something like the Scythe Fuma 2 or Alpenfohn Brocken 3 if available. 

 

The board is also expensive. Something like an MSI B550 Gaming Edge or B550 Tomahawk etc should be much cheaper.

Downgrade your CPU to a 5900X and your GPU to a 6800 XT. That GPU is faster and cheaper, while the CPU isn't too different for your use. If you care about stuff like Nvenc, Cuda or RT then stick with the 3070
