Cooler Master V8 GTS - How does it stack up

AMD ram in a intel motherboard..... 

Specs

CPU: i5 4670k i won the silicon lottery Cooler: Corsair H100i w/ 2x Corsair SP120 quiet editions Mobo: ASUS Z97 SABERTOOTH MARK 1 Ram: Corsair Platnums 16gb (4x4gb) Storage: Samsun 840 evo 256gb and random hard drives GPU: EVGA acx 2.0 gtx 980 PSU: Corsair RM 850w Case: Fractal Arc Midi R2 windowed

The V8 GTS trades some performance to achieve the look that it has, I personally think that it doesn't look very good. I bought the original V8 and I didn't like it after awhile and I think people would tire of the look of the GTS too. The Dark Rock Pro 3 is a better performing cooler and a better looking cooler than both of the other choices.

dark rock pro 3 is a completely different league to the v8gts

Price to performance doesn't stack up, unless you're going to have friends over everyday to show of your beast setup no point.

Iv'e read that the V8 is ridiculously loud and it's performance isn't good (I personally think it looks horrible aswell), but it's unfair to compair it to the be quiet or noctua as they are in different leagues. It's abit throwing a BMW M3 into an F1 race and expecting it not come last place.
