Use a little high-alcohol content IPA (i use 91%) to clean it out. You can use a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently apply it and work it out. Make sure it's nice and dry before you put anything in there

Luickily, that paste is not oging to be electrically conductive.
You just leed to get it out, or enough out that you can get the cpu to contact.

Get some isoproypl alcahol and a needle, then clean the socked the best you can with the neadle, then use some iso and clean it again, then just try your best form there, it should be good enough after it dries

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Plastic safe contact cleaner will flush it all right out.
Note I emphasized "Plastic Safe" and for good reason.
First, make sure all power to the system is off/disconnected - Just spray, let it completely dry/evaporate, then restore power and you're good to go.
You can find it in an auto parts store like O'Reiley's or Autozone if you have any stores like that where you are.
