I have been experiencing weird computer anomalies in recent times ... especially at night.

My recollection of past events isn't great but I recall my laptop frozed, internet crashed and Macrium Reflect restoring failed on a different computer all concurrently. After some time, everything went back to normality.

Another time, pressing some keys on my laptop would glitch the display and this laptop now has a busted keyboard.

I believe it is something to do with my electricity. Perhaps poor grounding? I was thinking of investing into a UPS since my 4-way belkin surge protector seems to be insufficient. Researched a bit, watched the old NCIX Tech Tips video on UPS and read through some of the video comments. Concluded that I should invest into a UPS which is at least both line interactive and pure sine wave. My load won't be that high. A few laptops, maybe a TV and a router. Finding a UPS with these specifications in my country however seems to be difficult. In contrast, there is a wide selection of UPS that's offline/standby and with simulated sine wave. Would these lower end UPS help me or are they only as good as a 4-way belkin surge protectors?

I think 1 other fear I have with using a UPS is whether I can plug in a regular power strip into a UPS since I don't think a UPS will have enough outlets. This fear of mine is further amplified because the power strips I see in my country often advertise surge protector functionality and double surge protector (UPS + power strip) doesn't sound right to me.
