When playing Warzone on my PC, it seems like my PC randomly shuts down during gaming. (ONLY IN WARZONE, NOT OTHER GAMES) I have tried the following:
- Watching my temps, they are not out of the ordinary

- Resetting my entire pc and scanning game files, with no result

- Benchmarking my pc with different softwares (can't remember the names since i'm not a pc geek but I ran a couple without issues)

- Turning down settings to the bare minimum. I can't tell if this makes a difference since the crashes still happen. Don't know if it is as often as with high settings.

I have ran out of ideas what could cause this issue. Perhaps a hardware issue, but I don't know which part it could be.

A couple notes regarding my experience in crashes:

- It has happened a lot of times while loading from the pregame into the match itself

- It does not matter if my pc is running for a while or has just started up. Crashes happen randomly

- When I first bought my PC I remember having issues with my XMP and I read something about Gigabyte and corsair RAM not always working together as expected. Tho I have looked at the supported RAM list and mine was on there, so I don't know.

My specs are as follows:

- Videocard: Powercolor Red Devil 5700XT

- CPU: Ryzen 3600

- Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite

- Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16)

- SSD: Samsung 970 EVO plus

- PSU: Corsair RM650

If anyone has any tips, please let me know 🙂

Crash in just one game but nowhere else implies a software issue with the game.  Have you tried reinstalling the game?  If warzone is the only thing that gets played though it might be a more general issue that only looks like a single app because it’s the only one that gets tried.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

@Markderksen Bomb is correct with his reinstall suggestion. I was having the same issue with warzone, including severe stuttering. Uninstall Warzone, delete the warzone folder, (Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare), restart. Install the game, in Graphic Options, set Texture resolution to normal. Restart warzone. Also disable windows 10 Game mode. Warzone is running perfectly for me now.

Not sure why all these steps need to be taken, I've had Warzone installed since season 1, so I assume at some point something got skewed in there, but this is exactly what I did to get back into game.
