Help with radiator

Go to solution Solved by WunderWuffle,

For that setup, I would recommend 4x 120mm of radiator space. Also, there isn't much benefit to watercooling to motherboard if you're not going to be using ln2 or pushing a butt ton of voltage through it.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Forget about the bad memories of the past, take the good ones along with you through the present, and look forwards to the good things that will come in the future.

Since you're going for a quad core Ivy Bridge E, you should get a regular i7 instead. I think the 4770k and the formula is a better solution.

Yeah. True. And should i use the built in water cooling loop on the formula or should i get a new full motherboard instead?

You don't need to cool the motherboard, but if you seriously want to for the better aesthetics, you can use the integrated block; just make sure that your coolant has an anti corrosive since the block if made out of aluminum.

True. Thank you so much for the opinion.

So a question for that. If you can sufficiently cool the cpu and power delivery on the motherboard can you get away with running higher voltages and still have it be stable?

Yes, most likely. But what I meant by ton of voltage is like 1.4V+
