Hi,

I've been looking for a way to automatically put old data from the document folder on a slower HDD to get extra space on my SSD, while still having them appearing in the folder. I'm sure someone figured out a way to do that before, but I still didn't find any topic here nor on any other forum. I would like it to be indistinguishable between old and new files. Does anyone ever searched and found something like this ?

Thanks for your answers, any help is appreciated.

Apple time machine would do that.  They’re so old they don’t even make em anymore though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
