Country: France

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Microsoft Flight Simulator / Project Racing / Adobe Inventor / Keyshot
I'm not into RGB , I would like to focus on cooling and a quiet pc with most efficient parts.
I don't know which case , monitor , power supply and desk to choose ; need advice +++ , please check my list below

Processor : AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (3.4 GHz / 4.9 GHz)

Watercooling : NZXT Kraken Z73

Fan : What best quiet fan of 140mm?

Motherboard : MSI MEG X570 ACE

RAM : G.Skill Trident Z Royal 64 Go (4 x 16 Go) DDR4 3600 MHz CL16

Graphics : ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 3090 O24G GUNDAM (is it the best version for running cool ?)

SSD : Western Digital SSD WD Black SN850 2 To x3

Power supply : ASUS ROG Thor 850W 80PLUS Platinum ----> Does I need 1200W ?

Case : Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV X Glass ----> Any other suggestion for best cooling or silence?

Monitor : OLED CX LG 48'' or SAMSUNG NEO G9 , is it better to play on OLED TV than Samsung NEO G9 what about G-Sync?

Soundcard : ASUS Strix Raid Pro

Desk : Can someone recommend a good desk ?

Thanks

No this does.

But, while the RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC technically has the best cooler on the market, you can get the RTX 3090 ROG Strix if you have more cash. While it has higher thermals than the TUF OC it also comes with a much higher factory OC. The Gundam is just a redesigned Strix which is costlier only for a Gundam-esque paint job

Yes, 850W is too small for your system, nVidia themselves recommend 1000W psu for 3090s. So i would get atleast 1200W PSU

Dual 2k monitor setup. Went for a 1200W 80+ Platinum PSU instead, and more case fans.

Says the guy that puts the most overpriced and useless aio and ram in existence

Ditch that crappy aio, liquid freezer 420 will absolutely obliterate it in cooling performance whilst being like half the price

Tridentz royal is wayyy overpriced, only reason to get it is if you are aiming for low latency or high freq (4400mhz+), go for the regular tridentz non rgb non royal, they even come in cl14 aswell

Ssd is completely useless, gen4 dont do sht to your load times and is only noticable when you regularly transfer massive files like 4/8k vid, swap for mushkin pilot e 2tb, though if you actually need it then go for a 980 pro or whatever the cheapest gen4 nvme ssd that still has decent speed and is not expensive asf

850w platinum has horrible value, go for 1000w or 1200w if youd like a platinum psu

X570 is useless if you dont run more than 1 gen4 nvme ssd, and those are already useless anyways, though if you do actually need the gen4 ssds, atleast swap the mobo for an x570 tomahawk or if you are overclocking go for the x570e or if you are really serious x570 crosshair

Maybe go for phanteks enthoo pro so you can fit a liquid freezer 420 on top of the case

Agreed on the RAM, but the motherboard is arguably one of the most important parts of the build. You want to pick out your case first, and then pair that with a solid motherboard.

I don't see any point to AIOs tbh, because there are air coolers like the NH-D15 in existence. However, if op wants a AIO, they still do serve a purpose. Idk about liquid freezer, but maybe Corsair would be a good option. They have non-RGB AIOs as well, where you can replace the fans (you can literally do the same on a cooler like the NH-D15 though too *shrugs*).

But you dont need an insanely overkill board either, x570 tomahawk is a perfectly good board, just make sure you dont get a pos cheap one

Liquid freezer 280 supposedly beats a d15 whilst being quieter so i guess these are just some really good aios, theyll prob obliterate the corsair ones too since the 280 beats a d15, imagine what the 360 or 420 will be capable of

As good as the liquid freezer is, just like other aios, if the pump dies then the aio is done for, and that usually happens around 3-5 years, whereas an air cooler like the d15 or drp4 will basically last forever as long as you dont let it corrode and change the fans if they break

Thanks for your answer both of you  even if I do not agree as well on AIO (i'm learning so im not trying to pay expensive just to throw money on garbage be sure that your advice are more than welcome)

I checked for Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420 but it is not in stock now , are you sure it performs better than NZXT Z73 ?
For Mobo I can go on X570 Crosshair but I have 3 choices DARK HERO / FORMULA / HERO WIFI, will it be better than MSI MEG ACE?
I found a new power supply which I think is good enough Corsair HX1200 80PLUS Platinum
For SSD I'm keeping SN850 there is a lot of video editing rendering that I'm doing in Keyshot files can be huge and I will write and erase a lot of time
I'm not very convinced about using Asus TUF Gaming as monitor , do you really think OLED is not a good option ?
For Case Corsair is not available what do you think about be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 rev.2 ?

Depends on the case though, because like with the newer cases you may need adapters for your headers, if you don't get a case with enough headers (idk why they ask for 2 usb (non-C) headers for the front panel of a 5000D case, but okay lol).

I just don't fancy water near any of my builds, so that's why I don't care for AIOs or liquid cooling, in general. I feel like there's no way they're going to make a cpu that a company making air coolers can't catch up with, you know? Definitely excited for whatever Noctua brings in the next few years. 🙂

Those 3 asus board is better than ace interms of connectivity and whatnot

Do you really need motherboard that high end?

It wont just outperform the z73, it will obliterate the z73

Go for a liquid freezer 360 or 280 instead, and the display on the z73 is pointless since you perrty much arent gonna see it unless you put your pc on your desk

Might aswell pay less for much more than pay more for less
