GPU fans go 100% at startup for about 10 seconds.

mcRYSHER

Hey there!

I built my PC two years ago.

CPU: Ryzen 3960x

MoBo: ASUS TRX 40 pro

GPU: GeForce 2080ti FE

Ever since the first boot I noticed my GPU fans go to full speed upon startup. After around 10 seconds the fans go to normal speed. Does anyone know how to get rid of this annoying thing? Some say it's GPU self-testing fans, others say it MoBo issue and it is normal.

Usually it's a test for the fans. 10 seconds is a bit long, but maybe it will run full speed until Windows controls the fan in which case it's absolutely fine

This is completely normal. The fans spin up as a test and to try to clear any dust that accumulated while the PC was turned off (which for all the GPU "knows" could have been years). Some GPU's actually spin their fans in reverse for this purpose.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
