11900k vs 10700k? z590-p MB

what benefits would I get from upgrading to a 11900k? I have an asus z590-p which I know would unlock another m.2 slot. other than that would the performance justify the price? 

 

system is a gaming rig (10700k, 16gb 3200 ram, nvidia 3070, 512gb ssd and x2 2tb hdd) mostly used for fornite and racing sims, (Forza series)

Frankly, you're better off with the CPU you have right now. Save some niche tasks, you wouldn't actually feel any difference. Infact, you are better off buying a cheaper 10900k than an 11900k if you DO want to upgrade, which i would not as a 10700k is still a very good chip.

For now just overclock your cpu and gpu, wait for the next generations since ddr4 is about to become obselete

Rock what you got and enjoy it. Not worth spending the money on a new cpu that's barely any better
