i am trying to render a video with resolve on the youtube preset but after a cut in video like another clip it has to render in that it says error clip  could not be decoded i have tried several times to do it but got the same error i did a full pc restart but still no difference please help me

Do you know what format the original video clip is in and what device it is from? (i.e. is it .mp4 or something else, or did it come from a certain camera/certain phone).

yes the original format is .MKV and the video was recorded with OBS on my laptop its a game recording I played the original clip and it works fine but in resolve I took some things out and did some speed adjusting and some color adjusting in certain parts but the problem is when there is a cut in the Timeline in exporting process it fails I still dont know whats causing that i have also tried other rendering presets and on the custom one it says make sure the clip is still in this device but it has not been moved what am i supposed to do
