Cpu overheating and leak

Tried to boot up my computer and was met with CPU overheating and then it shut off. Looked inside and the fan had stopped and something was leaking.

edit: well I found the leak, looks like it’s coming out of the seams of the heatsink how should I go about fixing it? Or should I just replace it

Gigabyte GPU by any chance?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Those images... like you wiped your butt hah.

Anyhow, shut everything down, find the leak (probably one of the fittings), fix the leak and then make sure everything is dry before you power it on.
I'd point a room fan at it and leave it for 24 hrs to dry.

PS Next time you build / buy a PC think about do you really need water cooling?

Looks busted to me, guessing it's an AIO? You might be able to RMA the AIO if it's still within a warranty period. You're better off replacing it outright with a NH-D15 or some high-end air cooler if you don't need to go with an AIO.

Thanks very much, it is an AIO but warranty expired end of 2020 (3 years old)

if you would recommend that air cooler it seems like much less of a hassle so I will probably order one on amazon. I’m assuming you just plug it in bolt it on and it’s good to go?

That sucks that the warranty expired, like a year after I'm guessing if its a 2-year warranty. Noctua's mounting hardware is a relatively painless procedure to install. The only issues I can see is if your case can fit a huge air cooler (165mm at the heights Noctua provides).

The fans on the AIO were 120mm, I’ll go through Noctua’s website and see if I can find something
