My specs-

5900X

Asus X570 E gaming

Gskill triden Z royale 16x2 3600mhz

corsair h150i elite

corsair hx1000

gigabyte vision rtx 3080

monitor LG 27GL850

Stock settings cinebench r23 score

multicore 20500

single core 1550

Frequency around 4.0 - 4.1 for multi 4.7 for single

temps around 86-87 quite profile on cooler

In gaming fps was good but closer to my old cpu i7-8700. Temps were higer than expected 72-75 always on cpu demanding games

Saw some videos on youtube and did tweaks using ryzen master found 200 ppt 130 and 190 values to be stable then did - 10 on star cores and - 20 on rest in curve optimizer . This is also stable

with these settings cinebench r23 scores

multicore 22100

singlecore 1658

frequncy solid on 4.4 on multi 4.9 on single but moved a lot between 2 cores

temps 82-83 on balanced profile

In gaming with PBO settings i did get nice fps improvement around 5-10% but temps were at 65-70

I couldnt go any higher all core frequency than 4.4 tweaking PBO.

so i tried to just use cpu all core ratio to force it 1st tried 4.5. it was stable cinebench r23 multicore score increased to 22750 single core droped to 1460 but system was stable and temps also droped significantly

cinebench temps 80

gaming temp 60-64

now i tried 4.6 all core but it crashes in start of cinebench and system reboots

i did not play with voltages it has been on auto for all the above things

XMP profile was also enabled

is there any way i can get more frequency for all core and also keep temps below 70C

Please help as this is my 1st OC cpu

The only thing that can improve stability at this point is a higher fixed voltage. But this will come at the expense of temps.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Thats perfect isnt it?
PBO gets you the most performance while staying in safe temperature ranges.
If you want lower temps, you WILL have to be ok with lower speeds too.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

yes it is vut i want to know if i can get any more frequency for all cores

without increasing temps and volts too much

Not really. Maybe like 5% max over PBO. And definitely not get more speed and lower voltages.
PBO is pretty good at getting the most out of your system.

But if you really want the max you most likely have to do all that yourself.
But then you get to the problems of all CPU;s being just slightly different.
You would need to try what your CPU is capable of.

As to somewhat more precise info, if you able to make the computer boot at 4,6Ghz. and then it crashes in Cinebech.

Maybe try adding 0,02V to the CPU, and see if thats stable.
If you have really good cooling the max Voltage you can go for is about 1,45. (but thats 360MM AIO or better)
I personally also to not decrease lifespan to much keep the max at 1,3V

Its either PBO or you do it yourself?
Precision Boost Override, thats OC but done by the software/hardware itself?

You should be able to. Different load types with have a different effect on your clocks when it comes to boosting. For games and 3dmark stuff, superpi, mine will boost to 5150 for single core stuff. Linpack Xtreme runs @ 4500 ac, OCCT runs at ~4750 ac, TM5 runs at ~4850 ac.

You have to play with PPT TDC EDT and curve optimizer to get the clocks up there.

But to run an actual all core 1 clock 1 voltage best I can do for daily clocks is 4600, and bench at 4750. But that kicks the shit out of the cpu.

1 more problem that i noticed with PBO vs manual all core at 4.5ghz was that when i used 4.5 all cores it was running all cores at 4.5 all the time never went down or up especially in games but with PBO 1 or 2 cores are always at 3.6 ghz during gaming

That was the reason i wanted to use all core to fix frequency and try for more than 4.5 but it just dosent go any up

i am running a 360 aio corsair h150i elite cappelix

i never changed the voltage during all of my tweaks it was always on auto

i read somewere on reddit that fixing voltage on ryzen damages it reduces lifespan of chip

as this is my new system built just last week i dont want to take a lot of risk but also dont want to waste any free performance
