Is a lenovo X1 tablet gen 3 worth 750?

I have a friend who's willing to sell me an X1 tablet Gen 3. i7-8650U/ 16GB/ 512GB SSD for 750, and also a razer core v2 + 580 4Gb for 350. Would buying both of them be worth it? Or would it be better to buy a new laptop?

The X1 Tablet looks like a steal for $750 if it's indeed the 16GB RAM option. Those probably still go for $1000+ on the open market. Most the ones you find for lower than that are only the 8GB variant.

Op does have to realize that by going with a tablet and u series cpu gaming performance will be hampered but still be able to do 1080p 60fps in all games. That's something you'll be giving up by going this way.

Either way for the price alone it's a great deal especially when you can directly get a gpu dock with it too if gaming is a secondary interest.

It is the 16gb RAM option so I think I'll go through with it. Thank you for the help!
