Need help deciding weather or not to outright replace my laptop or get a new MXM card.  I believe the 880m in this one bit the dust unexpectedly.

I was watching YouTube before bed, while in bed. Since my wife imperialized the laptop and since I've had it. It's been sitting plugged into our TV. It has been cleaned and such since but It basically become permanently attached to it once she realized how much stronger it was to her Surface 3 lol. The TV output sound that was just a stutter of the same sound and the TV went black and signal was lost. Restarted the Laptop from it's main monitor and realized it was set to Intel HD 4600 graphics. Went and looked for the driver panel but it would not show. So I put a fresh install of the drivers in. Nothing. But, I after I went into Device Manager and I saw a Exclamation mark and A Triangle. It is detecting there is something in that slot but will not do anything. Disabled it and enabled it in device manager but still no life. I posted this on the Buyers Guide video but figured 2 places is better than 1.
