So I bought a pre built pc last year and it’s done me amazingly if I’m honest but about 20 mins ago I think it’s just died on me and I need some help with it if anyone can help I’ll give a short description on what’s gone on, so the other day it was my 20th birthday and I was really excited because I was getting another 2 sticks of ddr4 8gb 3000mhz ram sticks and it’s only been ten days since I’ve put them in and I was playing some Cold War about 20 mins ago and it crashed on me m, it wouldn’t have been the first time this has happened in these few days but it would always come back on a little while after but this time it will come on turn the monitors on like it’s about to come on then the monitors turn of and nothing happens, I’ve removed the sticks of ram I’ve put in recently and it still won’t show anything on the monitors, the graphics cards fans are still on so I don’t think it’s that (it’s a rtx 2070 super) I’m not to knowledgeable about these things so I need a bit of help. Thank you.

Take the recently installed ram out and try booting it again in it's original configuration. Mix matching ram especially different makes and models is a no no, even in cases where the ram is the same exact model and everything it can still be incompatible. That is the first thing that I would try, if it still doesn't work we can go from there. And as @Slottrsuggested, a spec list would be very helpful.

Main Desktop: CPU - i9-14900k | Mobo - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | GPU - PNY Gaming OC RTX 5080 16GB RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 64GB 6400mhz | AIO - Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm | PSU - Corsair RM1000X | Case - Hyte Y40 - White | Storage - Samsung 980 Pro 1TB Nvme /  Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 4TB Nvme / Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB Nvme / Samsung 870 EVO 4TB SSD / Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD/ Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD|

TV Streaming PC: Intel Nuc CPU - i7 13th Gen | RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200mhz | Storage - Crucial P3 Plus 1TB Nvme |

Have you done a CMOS reset on it? i.e. removing the the circular battery out of the motherboard and holding the power button down for about thirty seconds, reinstalling the battery and trying the boot again. *Computer needs to be powered down and unplugged from the power/wall for this to be done*

I followed your instructions of taking the battery out and I’ve put it back in and booted it up and it’s doing the same as it did before and now for some reason I can’t turn it off by the normal switch it can only be knocked off by the power supply

Have you tried contacting the prebuilder you bought it from to see if it is still under warranty?

What is the screen that comes up, you said it turns on but doesn't turn off? Does it display anything?

When you put the new ram in was the computer off and unplugged from power?
