What is this loading icon from? I found a guy posting this on reddit with no answer, I have had the same thing for a while.

Automatically loads at startup, and in TM, it just says "Loading 32-bit" as the application.

That's Gigabyte's Aorus Engine software, it's used to control RGB and fan speed on Gigabyte GPUs and maybe some other things like motherboards.

You can stop it from running on startup by going to Task Manager then the Startup tab and disabling it.

Hmmm. Odd.

I had a Gigabyte 3080 previously, since last October. I remember getting Aurous Engine, but that loading icon didn't appear until more recently. I did re-install AE more recently it to work with another company's RGB parts I think. Maybe it was different version. At least it's not malicious. Thanks!

If you're no longer using the GPU you can uninstall Gigabyte Aorus Engine (and any other Gigabyte software) and see if it goes away.

When you start your PC does it get stuck on that Loading icon or does it just flash up for a second then disappear?

it flashes and then goes away.

But yeah, I think I still have it because of compatible Crucial Ballistix RGB RAM or something. I'll probably live with it. But thanks for letting me know what it was.
