Hey I'm planning to build a computer and would like to know how the parts I have already picked would fare or whether I should change any of them.

Budget: ~$2000-2500 AUD (If there is something that would really give me a performance boost I'd be willing to go a little higher).

Aim: as the title suggests this will be primarily for gaming (any and all games) and programming. Maybe a little animation/video editing every now and then but that isn't a main priority. I'd also like to future proof in case I want to add more RAM, a different GPU, more fans ect.

Monitors: I'm planning on using a single monitor (which I already have) to start but I may upgrade to 2 in the future (again this isn't a priority).

Peripherals: I've already got a mouse, keyboard, headphones ect. so I don't need to worry about that.

Why am I upgrading: well I currently own an acer e-machine with a single core Pentium processor, 2GB RAM, integrated graphics (Please don't make me go on...)

Anyway here are the parts that I have picked:

Case: NZXT Phantom 630 Ultra Tower Case (I am particularly open to suggestions about the case however keep in mind that I want to utilize the USB 3.0 capabilities of the motherboard)

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K

CPU Cooler: Enermax ETS-T40

GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 780 Ti either the GV-N78TGHZ-3GD OR GV-N78TOC-3GD (I've been reading up on GPUs and Im fairly sure I want a Nvidia? Does that sound right?)

Motherboard: Gigabyte G1.Sniper 5 OR G1.Sniper Z5S (I'm not sure whether to go with the ATX or the E-ATX. Thoughts?)

Operating System: Windows 8

Optical Drive: Asus Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-Ray Drive (BC-12B1ST) (again I don't know much about optical drives but I do want one even though they have gone out of fashion because I still have old disks that I want to read)

PSU: Cosair RM750W

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 16GB(2x8)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB and a Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD

Also if you could point me in the right direction in terms of a place to buy the parts as cheap as possible (remembering that I'm in Australia) that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

he said gaming and codeing so i think what  he had was quite good, if  not overkill but he has the budget

coding isnt like video editing where hyper threading will help him, he can save the money and just get 8gb and a 4670k
