Ineffective CPU upgrade

I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 3 3100 to a Ryzen 5 5600x in an attempt to address stuttering and freezing in games due to high CPU usage spikes (mostly in warzone).

However it doesn't seem that the upgrade has solved my problem.

Is there anything else it could be? 

Any help would be appreciated

Ryzen 5 5600x

Galax 2070 

Patriot Viper 8GB DDR4 @3200 x2

Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

WD Green 256GB m.2

Single channel RAM? Ram specs? Game is installed on the HDD?

Latest bios and AMD chipset drivers?

 

Edit: The game needs to be on an SSD. You'll have terrible experience having it on an HDD.

Latest bios but not latest AMD drivers.

Yeah no. Even on low, HDD warzone kinda fucking sucks. Im just glad you get stuttering, because its either that or spectacularly horrible pop in issues.

It just doesn't have enough bandwith to stream the game. On lowest settings people kinda sort off get away with it on a 7200rpm hdd as the game doesn't stream that much data then but it's not a fix.
