Task Manager CPU Usage

hi, i totally know nothing much about how cpu's perform.

my motherboard oc setting is off, but when i run task manager, it shows that my cpu is running at a higher speed than stock.

 

am i reading the task manager wrong, or...... ?

 

this is the first time i noticed this because i wanted to see how much cpu and ram are being used, so i can decide if i need to upgrade.

Thats turbo boost for you. Thats fully normal and the cpu is funning fully at stuck speeds.

ah, so i have been running at, or around, 4.7 for..... four years??

wow..... i thought it's always 3.7.......

so i don't have to worry about putting extra voltage to boost it from 3.7 to a higher speed?
