Selling a 3060 on eBay?

Apple-Seeds

Hello! I'm terribly sorry if this isn't the best way to go about asking this or the right place to go, but I've got a slightly nervous question, and I was hoping some people here might be able to offer up some advice.

Looking back I probably should've just built something myself, but pretty recently I bought a prebuilt Dell XPS desktop, and it came with a shiny new RTX 3060 (not a 3060Ti sadly, which seems to be quite dominant on eBay from what I can tell). However, I'm far from a person who needs that kind of power for a graphics card, and I realized I might be able to recoup some cash by selling it on eBay, and using some of that cash to buy something like GTX 1660Ti, which is far more in range of what I'd actually need, while putting some more money in my pocket. The problem is that I've never sold anything on eBay, much less a graphics card, and I feel rather lost at how to go about it or if this is even a good idea.

So I suppose my questions are: What's some advice for selling this thing on eBay? Is that a good move to make? Is there somewhere better that I could sell it? Will having never sold anything on the platform before cause a lot of problems? Any assistance is greatly appreciated, or even just pointing in the direction of a media source for advice would be great. Again, if this is not the best place to ask this, very sorry about that.

I would just keep the System as it is i dont think it makes sense to sell a 3060 on ebay pay 10% fees and then buy a 1660ti in the current market see the Card as future proof maybe u will get a higher res display in the future or smth who knows 🙂

Personally I don't think it'd be worth the hassle. While RTX 3060s have been selling for around $700, and the card your looking at sells for around $450, you have to factor in the money eBay takes, as well as Paypal. On top of that as a new seller you have to wait 30 days before you actually get the money from the sale. None of the cards I saw were Dell's version, which is less desirable and likely won't get the amount AIB cards get.

I see! Thanks for the help. Saves me a bit of hassle anyway. Wasn't aware of all the logistics of selling on eBay. Thanks a ton!
