Youtube block user/channel function missing

Did they remove this? I know for sure that used to be a thing - now all i see is "not interested" which really isnt the same thing and doesnt  even work, Im sick of seeing "every day astronaut" and "common sense skeptic" recommended  who are both equally idiotic, and i did press "not interested"  like 20 times already, help?!

I have never seen a way to block a channel.

 

You can still use "Don't recommend channel" which is the closest thing I am aware of to what you're describing.

What device are you using? Using the app on an iPhone, when I click the three dots button next to a recommended video I get “Not interested” and “Don’t recommend channel” options. If I go to the channel’s profile and click the 3 dots button, I get the option “Block user”.

chrome on win 10, and yeah thats exactly how i remember it… now its just "not interested" (which does *not* work) weird.

The weird thing is it (the not interested thing, as thats my only option) works for "some" channels but not for others, so it definitely feels like a "we show you this until you like it" kinda algorithm
