Same .PST for Two Outlook Apps

I have two VMs that I want to have access to the same .pst for outlook at different times (one VM accessing it at a time). Will it be possible or would it cause too many issues for outlook? Thanks in advance.

Instructions for frustration management:  

1) Sit at desk.   2) Repeatedly slam forehead against desk.

 

I never said I was smart, just smart enough to be dangerous.

Although I try to stay far away from applications that utilize proprietary file formats (like PST files), I can't imagine there would be an issue if the Outlook app on both VMs fully and properly closed out the file when they were done with it.
