2070 super for 1440p144hz??

ThundraMX

Im thinking about buying this gpu, but can it handle 1440p144hz gaming?? I really want to know if its worth it or if I should wait until 3070s are restocked. I play R6, Rocket League, Valorant and a few other games.

Any reason for this older card? As for 1440p144hz yeah BUT depends ENTIRELY on the game you are playing. So we will need to know what games you are playing first.

I would honestly wait instead of get a first gen rtx card.

You can't just throw those numbers around. Some games will get 300fps and others barely 60fps. It's on a game by game basis.

These numbers are based on a database of multiple games.
If there is an unclear question, there is an unclear answer.

Yes I can see that but you just cannot take the average fps of a bunch of games as especially when you get down the list you get massive outliers in terms of fps that really influence the average.

Also it really wasn't that unclear of a question all that was lacking was op providing games they were playing.

The 2070 super is more than enough for those games. Same res and I played Siege on a 2070 super with no issues at all. It always stayed over 144fps on high/very high settings with a i7 9700f.

Rocket league runs good on a potato, from what I've seen valorant isn't that demanding either.

The real question is what is the 2070 super gonna cost you?

No cpu mobo or ram atm

2tb wd black gen 4 nvme

2tb seagate hdd

Corsair rm750x

Be quiet 500dx

Gigabyte m34wq 3440x1440

Xbox series x

Some games, or game engines, require a powerful CPU to keep framerate high, so does anyone know what CPU the OP has? The RTX 2070 Super is, I think, a bit faster than the RTX 3060, only advantage the latter has is 12GB VRAM.
