are you sure you're booting a 32-bit OS?  If you're trying to load a 64-bit OS on a 32-Bit CPU you'll have issues

ohhh that explains it missed that it was a 32-bit CPU, actually it's an AMD athlon x2 something I thought it was 64 bit actually

Well the chip is if it's an Athlon X2

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Then I have something to tell you and @AbydosOnethis chip should be 64bit if I look it up

So we know it's not that then.  So that's one possibilty as to why it's not working.  How are you making the USB stick?

First of all in Rufus you should format the drive as fat32 as most old computers will have trouble booting from NTFS and exFAT. Also, Kubuntu is a very heavy operating system. You should instead use Ubuntu MATE (It is designed for old computers) and use the 64-Bit Version since there is no point for going 32-bit if you have a 64bit cpu. If Rufus doesn't work then try Balena

Etcher

Download Links:-

Ubuntu MATE:- https://ubuntu-mate.org/

Etcher:- https://www.balena.io/etcher/

Switched to Ubuntu mate and already had fat32,  etcher I think I have used but I can try again. So no hopes right now but something I noticed is that the USB would sometimes become not visible to windows after it has been in the old PC
