So I currently have a pump/reservoir combo and want to move away from it and get a reservoir and a pump. My only problem is i don't know how to lay it out in the most efficient way while using the least amount of tubing. I made a little sketch of my case and everything involved, i just need help on where to place things. I'd prefer the radiator go up top so it would accumulate less dust but its whatever. Thanks! e40b.jpg

Switch the PSU and Rad.

For tubing, go from the GPU, to the CPU, to the Rad (now in the top), into the Res, into the pump, into the GPU.

Case: Lian Li PC011-D - CPU: 3900x - GPU: 2080ti Reference - Mobo: Gigabyte - Ram: Corsair 4x16gb 3200MHz - SSD: 2TB Samsung Evo NVME

Wow, what kinda case? Also, stop hatin the idea. I have 6 PCs with top mounted PSUs. It's not that bad. Maybe a supplemental 240mm in the front will provide more cooling power, since LGA 2011 CPUs and Radeon 7970s are power hungry and heat up a lot.

Okay thanks for all the input!! And the case is a Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra btw and it can fit top PSU's but i want the radiator up top as most of you have said.

Removing those drive cages will make your life a lot easier...

where will i put my 2 hard drives and 1 ssd?

You can keep 3, but the rest can go.

Alright thank you!! the CPU won't heat up from having the GPU fed first right?

There all connected, like its 1 piece >.<

Edit - Ohhh do you mean like take out the mounts for the drives?? I've done that already ;)

:/ I'd remove the top drive case then, and probable put the pump there. Radiator in top too.. I would put a 240 or however big it is in the top, and a 120/140 whichever it is in the back or front.

Okay, I only have 1 radiator currently and its the 360mm which is going in the top. And the HDD cage is all like 1 piece so I'd either have to remove the entire thing and buy a modular HDD cage or just keep it there. However, I have taken out all the mounts.

Case is Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra, only thing I've modified on it is I removed the ugly mesh on the side panel and put in a piece of tempered glass for better aesthetics. and temps are okay I think for having a 7970 and 3930k on a 360mm radiator. I think if I add a second GPU, I'll definitely do what you said and put a 240mm in the front for sure.
