SIM Card shows "Unknown number"

I got some O2 Sims (UK) Just to use for websites that i dont feel comfortable with them having my number! 

I put one in my phone 4 and 5 and samsung j5 but they all say unknown number... The sims arent faulty it just wont give me a number.ive swapped all the sims around etc and even got new ones!

iphone 5 and samsung j5 are, Iphone 4 are locked to O2 (The carrier im using)
