Brave browser - is it safe?

Hi.

 

I've been seeing ads about the Brave browser and i am already trying it on some of my devices (got it installed 3 days ago) and i like it. However, i'm wondering if this browser is safe. Specially regarding info on payment methods and crypto wallets. I know nothing is failproof. But, you know, is it reasonbly safe or should i stick with regular chrome?

I use brave as well. Been using it for many months now. Seems pretty safe. The ads aren't controlled by them.

Yes, it's safe. I would recommend installing the free Malwarebytes browser extension (though in personal experience it has a few false positives). Since it's on Chromium you can install extensions made for Chrome.

I use it a lot and its great at blocking adds.
