Hi guys, I'm writing that issue here cuz it's second time it happens to me. My water pump just die and i don't know why. It was connected to mother board and speed was set at around 700. My coustom loop is water block for graphic card then processor and then two 3x12 radiators then straight to reservoir. Maybe it's beacouse it's to much water in the system and water pump is to weak to handle it. Please any ideas?

First off, you can easily set EK pumps to around 1500-1700 RPM before they become audible in my experience, so running them at 700 will only make your temps worse without giving you lower noise.

But if they keep dying you have other problems. Is there a water temps sensor in your loop? If the water gets too warm, the pump will suffer.

I'd remove the pump from the loop and open it up similar to this video: (at around 5:30)

Often pumps are not really dead, but just gunked up to the point where it fails to start.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

But it seams that it's get dirty over very long time, for me it stops working after couple months. I don't have a water temp sensor. If I'm not aware of noise is it allright to run it at full speed? If it comes to taking pump apart i will do it but not today, I'll try to clean it like on video above and then we'll see if that was that.
