I have an MSI B550 A pro motherboard and it will not post. I think I have tried everything from updating the bios and turning the pc on to see which LED lights are on. The only LED lights that are on is the "BOOT" LED. I tried to update bios one more time and for 30 minutes it has been flashing red. I am lost and need help.

Power Supply: EVGA 650 GA

Depending where you live, most pc shop can test your mobo for free to see if it's dead or not.

The most obvious mistake a lot of people make is having a bad GPU and thinking it's the mobo. I suggest you connect to your mobo to use the integrated graphics and if you can, use DVI instead of HDMI.

So right now I have a flash drive plugged in trying to do a bios but it has been flashing red for an hour or so. Is it ok to remove this flash drive? I can't try these things without doing that. And at the moment, I am using display port but I can try to get a dvi.

I wouldn't even mess with your bios. Flashing your bios will only cause more problems. Whenever your mobo wont POST, it usually isn't Bios.

What does the flashing red mean on my bios though? I need to know if I can pull out this flash drive.
