Actually, their fan might prove to be pretty good.

Nidec has been making some pretty good fans for quite some time.
Their Gentle Typhoon (case fan, apparently a different impeller, DBB) has been trading blows with Noctua's NF-A12x25 in noise normalized tests, and it's an old fan.
