used computer set, good move or not?

Hello guys,

so I stumbled across this add for a used pc some days ago and I'm itching to do something stupid and buy it.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/805091523540448/

I am not sure if you can view links from facebook so I'll list the specs here

1) Komputer: -

Procesor Intel Core i3 - 3225 CPU 3.30 Ghz -

Pamiec Kingston HyperX DDR3 8 Gb 664 Mhz -

GPU MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4gb -

Dysk HDD 500 Gb

2) Keyboard:

Motospeed CK104

3) Mouse + pad:

A4Tech Bloody Q50 Neon xGlide Q5081S

4) Headphones:

A4Tech Bloody G300

+Monitor SAMSUNG 2033SN

for around 300 euro!

I dont have a desktop BUT I have my laptop with i7 8750,16gb ram and 1060 3gb which is actually more powerful than that configuration but I think that I could use that desktop system to add a better cpu and gpu later when prices become more affordable while also saving money on pieces like a case and a monitor.

that desktop 1050ti shouldnt be too much worse than the max-q 1060 but that old i3 should get trampled by the laptop i7 so gaming should still be loads better on my laptop.

BUT STILL!

I think it would be a nice quality of life upgrade browsing the internet on a 20" monitor with a quiet pc rather than a 15" laptop that gets quite loud when plugged in.

what is your opinion?

thanks!

Just save that money for a nice monitor IMO. The CPU sucks in the new build and your gpu is still better.

Big nerd.

hmm, for me it doesn't show as sold but I suppose that it's not such a good buy as I initially thought.

I suppose I could use that money towards a used ps4 or hope for a ps5 someday

I would just look to build an APU system with the upcoming ryzen 5600g if you want upgradability.
