ok so I got a link from my friend on Instagram through a dm and the link said apple.com and I clicked it then it took me to a weird website that looked like apple but it looked unprofessional So I exited then my account started sending that link to everyone  I follow my account is secured now but I'm wondering what this was, how did it happen, and how would you make something like that

right-click on the link and hit "copy target URL" or whatever your browser calls it, and then paste it into Notepad and check.

this has been a while but what I mean is it looked just like apple website but the letters were rainbow and it said free iphone then I got a new login notification

You clicked on a super sus link, and got boned.  Ain't nothing there that looks remotely legit.

 

FYI:  If you get an unsolicited link to something that seems sketch AF?  It's 99.5% sketch AF.  Don't fucking click on it.
