Mouse skipping when opening windows and playing games

Hey everybody, so a few weeks ago my mouse started skipping/freeze out of nowhere. It seems to mostly skip when loading new windows/apps, and also in games when the cpu is (somewhat) loaded. (I don't play very intensive games). I also don't think its some sort of virus in the background, since task manager is not showing high cpu usage, and I don't see any strange executables running in task manager. Here are my pc specs:

 

Windows 10

Ryzen 5 2400g

Asrock B450m Pro4

2x8 Ripjaws V 3000mhz

CX650m PSU

Intel Dual Band Wireless AC3168 (with a pcie adapter)
