Here, this is the most expensive, so it must be the "best":

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RHCFf7/gskill-trident-z-royal-128-gb-4-x-32-gb-ddr4-4000-cl18-memory-f4-4000c18q-128gtrs

RGB, so you can set it to any color you want, including white.

🙄

But its still cl18 and not cl16 or cl14 😐

You must go for 5333mhz ddr4 because maximum sped

just tighten the timings for even more sped

When your System is AMD and you wand Max Performance, go for a 4000+MHz Kit and set it to 3733 MHz, CL14. That way you can Achieve the Maximum Speed.

For Intel, just go with the fastest Ram available.

Ram speed is measured through 2 different numbers. The Clockspeeds (typically between CL14-18) and the Data Transfer Rate (3200-5000MHz). Because it's DDR (double Data Rate), the Transfer Rate is double the "real" Speed. So a Kit that gets identified in CPU-Z as 1600MHz, has a Data transfer Rate of 3200MT/s (Megatransfers per second, two transfers per Herz, therefore double data rate). With AMD you can set the infinity fabric to a speed of 1200MHz to 1866MHz non overclocked, so if you want perfect synchronicity, then set both to a 1:1 ratio. 1866MHz on infinity fabric and 3733MHz Ram Speed (because double data rate) and you'll have the best performance. In measureables, this will give you 1-2% more FPS or less Rendering time, but not more.

You also want the right balance of Clockspeed and Transfer Rate.

So if for example: 3600MHz CL18 and 3200MHz CL16 have both an absolute latency of 10 ns. But 4000MHz CL18 has only 9ns.

You can use this website for quick checks: RAM Speed Calculator | XBitLabs

To come to a conclusion: for AMD, I would go the best 3800MHz or 4000MHz Kit you can find, downclock it to 3733MHz and the lowest stable clockspeed.

For Intel, just go with the fastest Ram that has the lowest real time latency.

First of all:

Great PC you got there! Kinda jealous...

Secondly:

I found this 128GB kit and I think if you adjust MHz, Timings and infinity fabric, you'll get the most out of it.

But I would first try it with the preexisting ram, just overclock how much you feel comfortable, there are a lot of good tutorials out there!
