Should I replace my paste when getting weird temps?

I recently build myself and it all went down as expected, no problems and such but I don't know if the temps of idling should be that high and if replacing the paste will do any better.

Though your GPU could be lowered, is it a used?

Well you see at these prices I basically bought a new pc with the exception of a gpu. it's about 4 years old or something, don't remember. The gpu temps isn't what Im worried about (cause Im about to change it in the near future), it's the cpu. I don't know if changing the paste is gonna make any difference, that's what I am looking to know

guess you're right. I just thought it would be closer to 30-35 and not 38min and 45max while idling

What's your ambient?

as of right now they're about 30-31C

Idle is generally in the +8-15c over ambient range.  You're MORE than fine.

Then as said above, you more than fine.  

 

I clarified because a lot of people claim ambient as the outside temp, even if they have heat or air conditioning inside.
